| 2009 OPENING DAY What a FANTASTIC way to start the baseball and softball season off with a parade. The parade was held April 25 at 8:30 and each team marched their way to Prospect Park cheering their teams on! We welcomed Bill Kortz (State Representative) who spoke to the kids. Maria Martinez sang the national anthem beautifully. To start the activities of the day, we turned to Bill Kortz to throw out the first baseball pitch of the day to Scott Meyer catching. Then Danielle Zeppieri threw out the first softball pitch of the day to Mya Greschner catching. And finally we had Zachary Remlinger throw the final baseball pitch to Scott Meyer catching.
